Now, we’re looking for an E-Commerce Operations Manager with a growth mindset to help us successfully navigate this crucial phase, establish back-end processes, build out a multi-geographic team (both full- and part-time), and set the stage for scalable operations post-launch.

Role Overview
As our E-Commerce Operations Manager, we value a well-rounded skill set in Shopify, e-commerce, logistics, and technology, with an emphasis on back-end tool implementation to drive growth. You will be the key resource bridging operations, technical setup, logistics, and team coordination. Initially, this role will be part-time, transitioning into a full-time position as we approach our launch and begin to scale.
Key Responsibilities
• Operational Setup & SOPs: Develop and refine operational processes (e.g., order fulfillment, vendor coordination, returns), ensuring they’re documented for consistency.
• Logistics & Supply Chain: Oversee shipments from China to the US, coordinate with 3PL providers, and manage kitting and fulfillment needs.
• Shopify & Technical Integration: Implement, optimize, and maintain back-end Shopify apps and integrations (payment gateways, shipping tools, etc.). Light coding or HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus.
• Project Management: Use PM software (Trello, Asana, Monday.com) to keep tasks on track, ensuring details don’t slip through the cracks.
• Team Building: Identify and onboard additional talent (freelancers, part-time/full-time staff) to fill skill gaps in marketing, product development, or design.
• Financial Coordination: Collaborate with current bookkeeper (who is retiring) to transition financial responsibilities; maintain integrity and confidentiality when handling financial accounts.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with product development and marketing teams; ensure smooth flow of info between all stakeholders.
• Resourcefulness & Problem-Solving: Tackle day-to-day operational challenges with a solutions-focused mindset—especially important in an early-stage, capital-constrained environment.
