We are seeking an experienced and reliable Full-Stack Flutter Developer to support the development, optimization, and feature expansion of a live educational platform designed to help users prepare for national certification exams. The ideal candidate will play a key role in restructuring the codebase, implementing new features for educational institutions, and ensuring the platform operates seamlessly in production.

[General Information]
The platform is built using Flutter (frontend), Firebase (backend, including Firestore and Cloud Functions), and Node.js (for server-side logic). It also integrates with RevenueCat (subscription management), Intercom (customer communication), and Stripe (payment processing).

Originally designed for individual students, the platform has since evolved to support educational institutions which we are have built. The application is currently live in production, stable, and functional but requires codebase optimization and ongoing feature development.

The client has been managing the project independently but is now seeking a skilled developer to take ownership of the technical side and collaborate closely to ensure the platform’s continued growth and success.

[Responsibilities]
• Analyze the existing codebase and implement a restructuring plan to optimize performance and maintainability.
• Develop new features for the educator portal.
• Maintain and improve backend services using Firebase (Firestore, Cloud Functions) and Node.js.
• Integrate and manage third-party APIs such as RevenueCat, Intercom, and Stripe.
• Collaborate closely with the client to define and execute a phased optimization and development plan.

[Required Skills & Experience]
• Strong expertise in Flutter for mobile application development.
• Experience with Firebase (Firestore, Cloud Functions) for backend services and real-time data management.
• Proficiency in Node.js for backend development.
• Proven experience with third-party API integrations (e.g., RevenueCat, Intercom, Stripe).

[Nice-to-Have Skills]
• Experience refactoring and optimizing legacy codebases.
• Familiarity with app state management libraries (Provider, Riverpod, Bloc).
• Experience with testing frameworks for mobile and backend applications.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and mobile app deployment processes.

[Engagement Details]
• Duration: 3-6 months, with the potential for extension.
• Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week), with at least 3-4 hours of overlap with Eastern Time (ET).
• Preference: Developers based in the Americas (or nearby time zones) to ensure smooth collaboration.
• Start Date: ASAP.
