This is not a classification problem; I need the system to learn the shift assignment pattern and directly generate a fully populated schedule for the next month. For example, if I assigned Worker 1 to a weekday shift, then 8 days later to another weekday shift, then to a Sunday shift, and then 12 days later to another weekday shift, the system should learn these kinds of intervals, adopt my style, and assign shifts in the same way I do, generating the schedule for the month I need. If this problem is approached as a classification task, the system won’t work correctly, but if the entire month is predicted as a single output, then the system will be functional.

Now, I have another file called new.xlsx, which will be used during prediction. This file contains the dates column for April and the day type column. The model you write should, at the end, populate this schedule with shifts in exactly my style. There should also be an option to change the number of workers within the code. For instance, could be changed to 12, 13, 14, etc. Even though my old data doesn’t include these worker IDs, since the system will have learned my assignment style, it should be able to easily assign shifts in my style regardless of how many workers there are. One exception is that if a worker has already been assigned to a Sunday or Saturday shift once in a month (it doesn’t matter which), that worker cannot be assigned to another Sunday or Saturday shift in the same month. This is the first exception. Additionally, there should be a list in the code where I can input worker IDs and date ranges, and when I add them to this list, the system should not assign those workers to shifts during those date ranges because they are on leave or unavailable during that time.

Exception Cases:

Each worker can be assigned to a Saturday or Sunday shift only once per month.

Workers who are on leave or unavailable will be listed, and they will not be assigned shifts on those dates.

The number of workers should be adjustable in the code (e.g., 13 workers, 14 workers, etc.).
