The Opportunity As an SDR, you will reach out to (calls, emails, texts, social) active members of our client’s procurement network—many of whom are already familiar with the organization. Your role will involve re-engaging these members, educating new contacts who may not yet be familiar with our client, and scheduling high-value appointments for the sales team. The trial period offers up to $3,000 OTE per month for 2–4 months, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role offering up to $7,000 OTE per month plus benefits. Responsibilities Engage with active member institutions through high-volume outbound calls, utilizing advanced dialing technology, as well as emailing, contacting through social channels, and occasionally text messages as well. Reconnect with existing members, ensuring they are aware of the latest solutions and resources offered by our client. Educate new contacts within member institutions, particularly those new to their roles or unfamiliar with the client’s offerings. Emphasize the value of our client’s pre-negotiated contracts that save time and streamline procurement processes for educational institutions. Schedule appointments with procurement executives, including category leads and decision-makers, for the client’s sales team. Encourage participation in the Procurement Officers Community and subscriptions to newsletters. Use pre-developed scripts, voicemails, and outreach tools to effectively communicate the client’s message. Maintain accurate records of interactions and outcomes in Salesforce CRM. Qualifications At least 1–2 years of relevant work experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work effectively. Proven experience in sales development, cold calling, and lead generation, especially in high-volume outreach environments. Knowledge of procurement processes and the ability to effectively engage procurement executives. Familiarity with the education industry, including its unique purchasing practices and organizational structures. Ability to navigate gatekeepers and build rapport with decision-makers in categories like technology, research, and facilities.
