Here’s what needs to be done ASAP:
→Access my QuickBooks account as an accountant.
→Navigate to 2024 invoices. You’ll see many duplicate invoices that were sent in two parts — one for the deposit and one as a final reminder (e.g. $500 + $500 = $1000). However, both invoices were mistakenly showing a 50% discount (to account to what will be received next), which is now reflecting as a loss on our balance sheet.
→ These need to be manually reviewed, merged conceptually (by editing), and the discounts must be removed entirely so they don’t appear in our reports.
→Go into categorized income and find those payments/deposits related to wholesale orders.
→ Tag all relevant income as WHOLESALE INCOME for clarity and better tracking.
→ check for any duplicate expenses (paypal/bank account) / income

→ send a report on fixing and showing how everything is now correct so I can send over to my business partner the explanation
