The podcast is in the top 2% globally and is getting ready to launch Season 6. The podcast has weekly shows featuring guests and some solo episodes.

We are looking for a skilled Podcast Editor to join our team and help us deliver polished, engaging, and high-quality episodes to our audience.

Responsibilities:

Audio Editing: Edit raw recordings to produce clear and polished episodes, including removing background noise, filler words, long pauses, and technical errors.

Sound Design: Add music, sound effects, and transitions to enhance the listening experience while aligning with the podcast’s tone and brand. On solo episodes, we'd ask for more sound mixing to match previous episodes. Sounds are provided and direction is also provided via google workspace.

Mixing: Ensure consistent audio levels, clarity, and quality across all episodes. We use Buzzsprout magic mastering so minor mixing is required but no mastering.

Content Refinement: Collaborate with the podcast host(s) to refine content for clarity, flow, and engagement.

Post-Production: Finalize episodes, including file exporting, tagging, and ensuring they meet platform-specific requirements.

Timely Delivery: Manage editing timelines to ensure episodes are completed and delivered on schedule.

Qualifications:
Experience: Proven experience in podcast editing, audio engineering, or a related field.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in audio editing software garageband is what we record episodes in and we record guests shows on Zoom.

Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail to deliver high-quality audio and maintain the podcast’s tone.

Creativity: A knack for sound design and enhancing storytelling through audio.

Communication: Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with hosts and producers.
