Why? I am a private person, and if things go well, I will likely be in the spotlight soon. In this day and age, I will try to avoid that at all cost for myself and my family. I will provide a letter from the COO of the Utah MLS (UtahRealEstate.com) confirming I represented 1,436 transaction sides totaling $397.4 million. I will also provide the official RealTrends top 200 ranking from 2017 which was featured in the Wall Street Journal showing I had 317 transactions. To verify my full legal name which matches these records, I will also provide a copy of my driver’s license.

The letter should simply state something along the lines of:
“Due to AJ’s prominence in real estate and his growing recognition as an author, he has chosen to keep himself and his family out of the spotlight. To protect their privacy and security, he does not disclose his full name outside his inner circle, particularly his first name. For the same reason, he does not maintain a highly personal social media presence, a choice not uncommon for men of his stature. However, as his attorney, I have reviewed documentation verifying that during AJ’s real estate career, he represented 1,436 transaction sides, totaling $397.4 million in sales. I also confirm that he was ranked among the top 200 by RealTrends, as featured in The Wall Street Journal, for completing 317 transactions in 2017.”
