We are a well-established 3D visualisation studio based in the UK (almost 10 years in operation), working primarily with architects and interior designers, most of whom are located in London.

At any given time we’re managing around 20 active projects, each typically lasting around two weeks.

We’re currently looking to bring on a part-time Finance Manager to take charge of our invoicing and accounts receivable processes. Please note, this role does not involve managing outgoing payments or payroll.

Your primary responsibility will be ensuring that clients are invoiced promptly and that payments are followed up with diligence and professionalism.

- Invoicing: this will be your main task. You’ll be responsible for creating and issuing invoices promptly using our current tools (we use Xero and track in google sheets).

- Hours: 2–5 hours per week (ongoing)

- Availability: while the workload is relatively light, it’s essential that you’re available on a regular basis, ideally across most weekdays. If you’re only available Tuesday–Thursday, for example (like our current FM), it can be challenging for us if we need something reviewed on a Friday and have to wait until the following Tuesday.

- Payment chasing: Automated email chasers are no longer working effectively. We need someone who can manually follow up on unpaid invoices, track progress clearly, and help maintain healthy cash flow.

- Tracking: All activity is tracked in a shared Google Sheet for easy oversight.

- Phone call follow-ups: applicants who are willing to follow up with clients via phone will be given extra consideration. We’ve found phone calls to be effective in the past, and we have a company account available for this purpose.

- Team support: you’ll work alongside our existing accountant, and the person currently managing this role (who will be transitioning out due to limited availability) will be available to train you during the handover period.

Ideal candidate:

- Experienced in invoicing and accounts receivable, preferably in a B2B environment with high-value clients.
