How are you at building Vertical AI Agents? How fast are you?
I am looking for someone to help me evaluate the merits of an AI agent that can write an article or press release (using certain information from a database) and then via an API to a third party online news/article distribution site, automatically send out the article or press release. My company would get a distribution report and the produced article or press release would be stored as a PDF. The entire process would be triggered by an event. No human interaction should be required. I am looking for a soup-to-nuts solution- write, distribute, store and report. Thank you for your interest.

Opportunity Overview
We are addressing the critical gap left by ineffective browser and operating system notifications, which result in poor user experiences and reduced engagement. Our centralized, AI-enhanced notification management platform is specifically designed to dramatically enhance the notification experience for SaaS and enterprise software users. Sitting atop existing notification services like Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) and AWS SNS, our platform delivers intelligent, optimized, and seamless notifications across desktop, mobile, and web. Unique Value Proposition • Superior Notification Experience: Replace ineffective browser and OS notifications with unified, intelligent, user-friendly alerts. • Unified Notification Management: Single API to manage notifications across all devices and platforms effortlessly. • AI Optimization: Intelligent scheduling, prioritization, and filtering based on real-time user behaviour, reducing notification overload. • Cross-Device Notification App: Electron desktop app (Windows/macOS) and future mobile apps, providing end-users unparalleled control and an exceptional notification experience. Developer Specification for Proof-of-Concept (POC) To demonstrate feasibility, we will build a Proof-of-Concept focusing on the core technical components: the desktop client, the backend service (with basic AI logic), and integration with push services (FCM/SNS). Architecture Overview Our POC architecture will have three main parts: 1. Electron Desktop Client (Windows & macOS): Acts as a unified notification inbox for the end-user. 2. Backend Service & API (Cloud-hosted): Receives notification requests from client applications (our B2B customers), processes them (including any scheduling/filtering logic), and routes them to the appropriate channels (including our desktop client, mobile pushes, etc.). 3. Integration Modules: Connectors for external push networks like Firebase Cloud Messaging and AWS SNS (and by extension APNs for iOS, etc.), plus a simple web dashboard for analytics. Below is a breakdown of each: Electron Desktop Client: We will use Electron to create a cross-platform desktop app in JavaScript/HTML. The client’s primary role is to receive and display notifications to the user in real-time and allow the user to manage preferences. Key functionalities: • System Tray & Native Notifications: The app will run in the background (tray app on Windows, menu bar on macOS). When a new notification arrives, it will trigger a native OS notification (using Electron’s Notification API) so the user sees a toast banner (Notifications | Electron). Clicking it opens our app’s inbox. • Unified Inbox UI: A window listing all recent notifications from various sources (with app name, icon, message, time). The user can perform actions: mark as read, snooze (delay a notification), or set preferences (e.g. “mute all from [App] for 1 hour”). • Subscription & Auth: For POC, we’ll implement a simple account system. The user logs into the desktop app (could be just an email PIN or OAuth in later versions). This links their devices to a unified identity. The app registers itself with our backend (e.g. obtaining a token). • Real-time Updates: The desktop client maintains a persistent connection to the backend (likely via WebSocket or using a library). This ensures new notifications are pushed to the client instantly. Alternatively, we will integrate electron-push-receiver which allows the Electron app to directly receive FCM push messages (How to: Enable Electron push notifications with FCM | by Mauricio Hernández | Medium). For the POC, using Web Sockets (or even periodic polling) might be simpler to implement and demonstrate end-to-end flow. Backend Service & API (Cloud-hosted) The cloud backend (a Node.js/Express or Python/FastAPI app) will expose RESTful APIs (and/or WebSocket endpoints) for: • Submitting Notifications: e.g. POST /api/notify where a client app (our B2B customer's server) calls with a payload: [user_id, title, message, priority, channels,…]. For POC, this could also be triggered via a test interface. The backend will authenticate the request (API key or token). • Subscription Management: End-user devices (desktop app, or later mobile app) will register via something like POST /api/registerDevice with their user_id and device details (e.g. a FCM token for their phone, or an identifier for the desktop client’s connection). The backend stores these in a database (to know where to route notifications). • Notification Routing Logic: Upon receiving a new notification request, the backend looks up all devices for the target user and determines how to deliver. For example, if user has the desktop app online, and also a mobile device, the service might deliver to both or apply a rule (like “if active on desktop, suppress mobile” to avoid duplication). AI scheduling in the POC will be rudimentary – perhaps a toggle for “smart deliver” that if enabled, queues the notification and uses a simple rule (e.g. deliver during the user’s local daytime or after a cooldown if many notifications arrived recently). We might implement a placeholder ML model later (for now, rules suffice to demo the concept). • Integration Connectors: The backend will interface with external push services for delivery: o For desktop, as mentioned, likely via WebSocket to connected Electron clients (so no external service needed for that). o For mobile devices: use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) for Android and iOS (FCM can actually send to iOS APNs as well). The backend will use the Firebase Admin SDK to send messages to the device tokens it has stored. Similarly, for any devices registered via Apple or web, we use their push network. (In a full product we’d have to manage APNs certificates, etc., but POC can lean on FCM which abstracts APNs). o Optionally, AWS SNS: If some clients prefer or already use SNS topics, our backend can subscribe or publish to SNS. For POC, we might demonstrate sending an SNS message (though SNS overlaps with FCM functionality). Another AWS service, Amazon Pinpoint, could be noted for SMS/email, but that’s beyond initial scope. • Data Store: A simple database (e.g. PostgreSQL or MongoDB) to store user profiles, device registrations, and log notifications (for analytics). We’ll also have a table for notification preferences (e.g. user X wants only high-priority notifications at night). • Analytics Dashboard (Minimal POC): We will include a very basic web interface (could even be part of the backend web app) for developers to see their notification stats. For POC, this might just show: o List of notifications sent, delivered, and whether opened (if we track opens via the desktop app when user clicks). o Maybe aggregate counts (delivered vs read rates). This will prove out the value of insights. We’ll instrument the desktop app to send an “opened” event when user interacts, and the backend can tally these. • AI Module (Basic): To keep POC manageable, full AI/ML integration (like a trained model for optimal send times) might be simulated with simple logic: o We can implement a rule-based priority queue: e.g. if a notification is marked “low priority” by the developer, the backend will not send it immediately between 9pm-7am, but instead queue it and deliver at 8am. Or group low-priority messages and send one summary after an hour if multiple came. o Possibly use a public library or service for NLP to categorize notifications (if we want to show filtering by content). For example, tag if a notification seems promotional vs personal. o These simple algorithms can later be replaced by machine learning (using user behavior data to learn optimal times, etc.), but even a heuristic demo will illustrate the feature (we can show two notifications sent at 2am – one marked normal that wakes the device immediately, another marked “AI scheduled” which the user receives at 7am). • Security & Privacy Considerations: In the POC, we’ll incorporate basic encryption (HTTPS for all API calls, store minimal personal data). Authentication between the desktop app and backend will use tokens. Though a full product would need robust encryption for notification content (especially if sensitive), for POC we assume non-sensitive demo data. Technical Feasibility Notes • Electron Feasibility: Electron is capable of displaying native notifications on Win/Mac easily (Notifications | Electron). Receiving push in Electron is doable via community libraries (e.g. electron-push-receiver to integrate FCM in the app) (How to: Enable Electron push notifications with FCM | by Mauricio Hernández | Medium). We will leverage these to avoid writing low-level code. This ensures our desktop client can indeed get real-time pushes like a mobile app would. • Cross-Platform: By using web technologies in Electron, the same codebase works on Windows and macOS. We’ll test on both. (Linux support can be considered, but for enterprise focus Win/Mac are priority). • Scalability (for POC): We’ll run the backend on a simple cloud instance or Heroku. Node.js can handle the small scale of a POC easily. If we simulate scale, we might use a message queue for queued notifications (e.g. Redis or a simple in-memory queue). • Integration with FCM/SNS: We’ll set up a Firebase project for the POC to handle mobile device messages. Also, an AWS account to use SNS if needed (though for POC, FCM suffices to reach a test mobile app). • Mobile App (Optional POC extension): If time permits, we can also whip up a very basic mobile client (Android) that registers to our backend and shows notifications (this could simply rely on Android’s system notification when FCM message arrives, demonstrating cross-device). However, a full mobile app might be out of scope for initial POC – we can simulate it by showing FCM delivering to an Android test device. POC Success Criteria By the end of the POC development, we should be able to demonstrate the following scenario: 1. A test application (could be a script or a demo website) calls our API to send a notification to a user. 2. Our backend receives it, logs it, applies a scheduling rule (if any), then delivers: o Immediately show it in the user’s Electron desktop app (and trigger OS notification). o Send it to the user’s mobile (we can have a test phone with our generic FCM-listener app to confirm receipt). 3. The user clicks the notification on desktop, which marks it as read. The mobile device notification gets removed (showing sync – this might be simulated in POC by designing that if desktop app reports “opened”, we issue a silent push to dismiss on mobile). 4. The developer (us, in demo) checks the analytics dashboard and sees that the notification was delivered and opened by the user (e.g. 1 delivered, 1 opened = 100% open rate for that message). 5. We also demonstrate a “scheduled delivery”: a second notification marked low-priority is sent at 5pm, but our system withholds it and it only appears at, say, 8am next morning (we can simulate time or just manually trigger later to mimic scheduling). If we can show this end-to-end flow with a couple of example rules, it will validate the core technical integration. It will also serve as the foundation to build a production-ready system after incorporating feedback. (In summary, the POC spec focuses on delivering a working desktop notification client and a cloud backend that together prove our value prop: unified routing (via FCM/SNS) and smart handling of notifications. We intentionally keep some features minimal (AI as simple rules, mobile app optional) to hit the main goal of proving technical viability and allowing early user testing.) Visual Style and UI Recommendations Delivering a modern, clean user experience is crucial for both our developer-facing dashboard and the end-user client. Here we outline the visual and UX approach for each component: End-User Desktop/Mobile Client UI Our notification client should feel like a natural extension of the OS, yet offer a richer experience when opened. Key design principles: • Native Look & Feel: When notifications pop up, we use the native notification banners of each OS for familiarity. The app’s icon and notification style will match platform guidelines (e.g. use the Windows notification toast style and macOS Notification Center style). This ensures users trust and recognize the alerts as coming from a legitimate source (not some odd-looking popup). • Minimalist Inbox Design: The main window of our client will have a minimalist, uncluttered design. Think of it as an email inbox but for notifications – each notification listed with maybe an app icon, title, short message, time, and an indicator if it’s new. We’ll use material design cues (cards, shadows) or fluent design elements subtly, but overall keep it simple. Too much fancy design could distract; users will scan this list quickly. • Priority Highlights: We can incorporate subtle AI touches in UI: for example, high-priority notifications might be highlighted or pinned to top. Less important ones might be grouped (like “5 updates from Twitter” collapsed). Visual grouping and clear typography will help the user digest information efficiently. • Dark and Light Modes: Following modern trends, the client should support dark mode and light mode out of the box, respecting the user’s OS setting. Many users prefer dark mode especially for an app that may sit open on their desktop. • Gestures & Shortcuts: On mobile (future) we’ll allow typical swipe actions (swipe to snooze or delete a notification), and on desktop maybe keyboard shortcuts (e.g. Del to dismiss, enter to open the linked app or detail). • Customization: While not a priority for MVP, we should allow users some personalization – e.g. choosing a different sound for certain notifications, or color-coding notifications by app. Visually, this means our design should accommodate small accents (like app-specific icon or color in the notification list item). In terms of style inspiration, we can look at Apple’s iOS 15+ Notification Summary aesthetic (clean stacks of notifications), or Android’s notification drawer grouping. Also apps like Spark email or Slack (which groups notifications by channel) for ideas on grouping. But importantly, our design must avoid overwhelming the user – lots of whitespace, clear separation of time slots (maybe a divider “Earlier Today”, “Yesterday” if we show history), and concise text display. Developer Dashboard UI The web dashboard for developers (and product managers) should follow modern SaaS design conventions: • Clean, Data-Focused Layout: A dashboard landing page might show key metrics in large font: e.g. “Notifications sent today: 1,024”, “Open rate: 45%”. We’ll use data visualization (charts, graphs) to make analytics immediately understandable. For example, a line chart of daily notifications sent vs opened, or a funnel chart of delivery - open - action. • Navigation and Organization: Use a sidebar or top navigation bar with clear sections: e.g. Dashboard, Notifications Log, Segments/Users, Settings, etc. Icons plus labels for clarity. Many SaaS products use this familiar layout, making it easy for users to find things. • Modern Design Trends: We can incorporate flat design and semi-rounded components (modern, friendly feel akin to Google’s Material Design 3 or the latest Fluent UI by Microsoft). Also ensure it’s mobile-responsive (in case a dev checks stats on their phone). • Theming: Our brand should evoke the idea of connectivity and intelligence. Visually, this might be a color scheme of blues or purples (often associated with tech and AI), with a contrasting accent (for example, blue and an orange accent for interactive elements). Use a consistent font (a clean sans-serif for readability). We should also include our logo on the dashboard – likely something like a bell or radar symbol to denote notifications, combined with an AI twist (maybe an embedded sparkle or network node motif). • Contextual Help: Because our system has some complexity (AI settings, scheduling rules), incorporate UI cues like info tooltips (an “ℹ️” icon that explains a feature on hover) and a clear onboarding tour for new users. This improves UX by guiding users rather than leaving them confused by new concepts. Platform-Specific Considerations • Windows: Ensure the Electron app uses the correct Windows 10/11 Fluent style for notifications (Microsoft provides adaptive toast templates). On the dashboard web UI if accessed via Edge, all features should work in Edge as well as Chrome. • macOS: Use SF Symbols or macOS-native iconography where possible for the Mac build. Possibly integrate a menu bar mini-icon that when clicked shows a quick dropdown of latest notifications (common in Mac apps like Dropbox, etc.). Follow Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines for spacing and text (macOS users expect a certain polish – e.g. proper use of system fonts like San Francisco font). • Mobile (future): If/when we build a mobile app, we’ll follow the respective Material Design (Android) and Apple HIG (iOS) for the app’s UI, so it feels native. Even though our design language is consistent, we might adapt the style slightly (for example, on iOS use iOS-style toggles and navigation bars, on Android use Material You components). The goal is a uniform brand identity but respect for platform norms. Visual Examples and Trends To ensure our design is cutting-edge, we note a few trends in 2025: • AI-assisted UI: Some apps now adjust UI or content based on AI. We could, for example, have a subtle indicator like “Suggested by AI” on a notification that was delayed or promoted by the AI – transparency can build user trust in the system’s decisions. • Micro-interactions: Little animations when a user toggles a setting or an icon when a notification is snoozed (maybe a small clock icon appears) can provide feedback. Use these sparingly to keep the interface lightweight but not static. • Accessibility & Clarity: Use sufficient colour contrast for text (to meet a11y standards) and allow font size adjustments. Our service will be used by potentially a wide range of users (especially if B2C), so it must be accessible. We will likely create a design style guide with components (buttons, lists, modals) so that both the client app and the web dashboard share a consistent look. Using a UI library or design system (like Material UI for React on the web, and perhaps a component library for Electron like Ant Design or Fluent UI) can accelerate development while ensuring consistency. In summary, the UI will be modern, user-friendly, and purpose-driven: simple where it needs to be (so notifications are quick to read), and detailed where it adds value (rich analytics visualizations for admins). By aligning with contemporary design trends and platform guidelines, we provide an intuitive experience that enhances our product’s appeal.

We have started our AI based Saas project https://presentia.ai and it's an AI presentation generator. We are doing good with marketing but our conversion and product sucks to be honest. We want to make it like Gamma.app and magicslides.app. I mean the landing page, presentation quality design and templates.
It would be first a project based task where we will pay you for project and then we would like to hire you on monthly basis, to handle the whole product including design, features, development, and bug fixes etc. We are bootstrapped and we have limited funds so only share your proposal if you can work with a budget friendly startup like ours.
