Since I am also hosting several WORDPRESS websites on SITEGROUND, I would like to manage ALL my websites from there, and eventually close down the SQUARESPACE site. I simply do not have the time to do this project myself and have been putting it off for a while… I would like for a professional to do this right without me getting too involved.

DELIVERABLES:

Primary deliverable: Fully migrated website including identical content that can be imported into a SITEGROUND wordpress website using the WP All Import plugin.

What leads up to the primary deliverable:

1. All existing pages/links/blog posts with content must be preserved and be accessible using the same structure. The WP redirection plugin can be used if the template does not allow for this.

2. The SEO meta tags (description, title, og:*, twitter:*, etc.) for each page must be preserved at a minimum.

3. Similar looking WP theme to the SQUARESPACE theme we are using now. We can discuss theme once job starts. We can make styles/CSS and PHP edits to the theme if necessary. Does not have to look EXACTLY the same but I need to approve of the final look.

4. Consistent header/footer that contains the appropriate menus, buttons, logos, etc.

5. Site continues to be responsive (i.e. looks good on computer and good on mobile phones).

6. The 3 pages with custom Javascript (we have a booking page, a calendar page, and a contact form page) will continue to work on the new site as they worked on the old site. These are fairly simple to do if you are a good wordpress developer, the scripts are just a JS block on a page and for the contact form you can use WP Forms.


PROCESS and MILESTONES:

1. NO additional plugins may be used, unless I approve of them and they are free or have a free version.

2. At least 1 interim milestone where we walk through your progress and discuss next steps to make sure you are on the right track. Some funds will be released here.

3. Another milestone with the website running (with a different domain, of course) - so we can walk through the entire thing together to make sure it all works. Once approved, it will be exported using WP All Import plugin and then we will Import it using the same plugin on SITEGROUND and do the final test. Some funds released here.

We are looking for a WordPress-savvy Spanish translator to help me fully translate my website (built with the Platea theme) into Spanish.

This project requires a combination of two methods:
- Poedit for translating theme and plugin strings (e.g. “Read More”, “Leave a Comment”) — you will work with .pot, .po, and .mo files and upload them to the correct directories in wp-content/languages/themes/ and wp-content/languages/plugins/.
- Manual translation of the actual page content built with Elementor (text blocks, headings, buttons, etc.).

🛠 Requirements:
- Experience using Poedit to translate WordPress themes/plugins.
- Strong understanding of how to upload .po and .mo files without breaking the site.
- Native or fluent Spanish speaker with excellent grammar and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Elementor content editing and WordPress backend.

✅ You will:
- Translate all theme-related strings via Poedit.
- Translate all front-end content manually via the WordPress/Elementor interface.
- Ensure everything appears properly in Spanish across the site (frontend and UI).

We’re looking for a reliable and experienced WordPress developer who can confidently handle plugin configuration and contribute to custom plugin development. This is an intermediate role ideal for someone who knows their way around the WordPress ecosystem and is comfortable writing PHP, HTML, CSS, and some JavaScript.

**What You’ll Do:**
- Configure and troubleshoot commonly used WordPress plugins (e.g. Elementor, WooCommerce, Yoast, WPML, etc.)
- Modify and extend existing plugins as needed
- Develop small to mid-sized custom plugins following WordPress best practices
- Debug and resolve conflicts between themes and plugins

**What We’re Looking For:**
- 2+ years of hands-on WordPress development experience
- Strong knowledge of WordPress hooks, filters, and plugin architecture
- Experience with PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with common plugin settings and shortcodes
- Ability to read and understand documentation to configure or customize plugins efficiently
- Bonus: Experience with WP CLI, REST API, or Gutenberg blocks
