We are looking for a talented UX/UI designer to help redesign and enhance key components of our fitness app. Our app is about 70-80% functionally complete but requires a visual and UX overhaul to ensure a warm, interactive, and intuitive experience. The app should not feel like a typical fitness tracker but should invite users to move without pressuring them with arbitrary fitness goals.
I added one screen of the app. We currently have some screens styled and others left generic to allow for testing functionality. We need the generic screens redesigned to fit the branding we finalize. For the existing styled screens, we seek improvements to the UI, UX, or minor components to align them better with our branding. This role requires a designer with a strong understanding of UX strategy and visual execution who can work with our existing designs while bringing fresh ideas to improve usability, engagement, and branding. The ideal candidate will also have experience incorporating interactive elements to make the app more dynamic. We are looking for someone who can refine older designs and create uniform UI components that align with our branding goals. Design Goals & Style Direction The design should align with a neobrutalism aesthetic, incorporating elements of retro-futurism. The interface should feel inviting, engaging, and interactive, avoiding the rigid feel of conventional fitness apps. The design should create a sense of community and motivation without focusing on gamification or competitive features. Responsibilities Conduct a UX/UI audit of the current app, identifying inconsistencies and areas for improvement. Provide 2-3 initial high-fidelity design concepts that define the brand’s look and feel. Establish a unified design system (buttons, cards, typography, colors, and interactive elements). Redesign generic screens to align with branding and enhance existing screens with improved UX and UI components. Improve user flows where necessary and create new flows for missing elements. Ensure that all screens and flows maintain a cohesive design language. Requirements Proven experience in mobile app UX/UI design with a portfolio showcasing completed projects. Strong knowledge of Figma, including auto-layouts, components, and prototyping. Experience working on apps in their final stages, ensuring design uniformity. Understanding of design systems and how to implement them across an app. Ability to conduct UX audits and provide actionable design improvements. Experience in interactive and engaging UI design. Familiarity with neobrutalism and retro-futurism design trends is a plus. Project Milestones & Timeline This project is structured in phases to ensure clear direction and execution within two weeks. Phase 1: UX/UI Audit & Initial Design Concepts (1-2 days) Review existing designs & user flows. Provide comments in Figma on areas of improvement. Deliver 2-3 high-fidelity styling examples (color palette, typography, UI elements, sample screens). Align on a design direction before proceeding with the full redesign. Phase 2: Design System & User Flow Improvements (2-4 days) Establish the design system: components, buttons, cards, interactive elements. Refine user flows for the most important features. Phase 3: High-Fidelity Screens & Interactive Design (2-4 Days) Apply final UI designs across the app. Ensure all screens are cohesive and polished. Deliver final Figma files with well-organized components and assets. Application Instructions Candidates must provide: A portfolio showcasing previous UX/UI work on mobile applications. Answers to the provided application questions (failure to answer all questions will result in disqualification). No cover letter is required, but thorough responses to the application questions and a strong portfolio are essential for consideration. Project Execution Strategy To ensure this project is completed within two weeks: Daily Check-Ins – The designer will provide daily updates on Figma and highlight changes. Early Alignment on Branding – Before designing full screens, we will lock in the branding with example screens. Parallel Design & Feedback Loops – While screens are being designed, feedback will be given continuously to ensure no major revisions are needed at the end. Final Review & Handoff – The last phase will focus on refining details and ensuring the design system is fully implemented. We are excited to collaborate with a designer who can bring our vision to life and elevate the user experience of our fitness app!

I have a website that needs better navigation and more traffic.
https://thegoss.au/ Below is the report I received from another website expert. But I would also welcome your recommendation. Website Audit: • Technical issues on your website. • On-page SEO and website ranking for organic traffic. • Copy’s relevance and branding message. • Keyword advice • User experience and buyer journey • Internal and external linking. • Website map proposal and the structure changes (if needed) Home, special offers, five services, about pages I couldn’t identify how many products you have in the shop because you don’t have category pages. I presume it’s about 60 products (on 15 pages)? I won’t run a page-by-page audit for all products, but I will review up to 5 random products to understand the pattern of issues they might have. Marketing Strategy: • Clarifying your brand positioning and target niche in the market. • Competitors' analysis • Defining your primary marketing channels based on your short-term and long-term goals. • Understanding your customer's journey and engagement. • Clarity on your current marketing activities and recommendations for the future.

CMS Optimization - Review and optimize our Webflow CMS setup, suggesting improvements for content organization and scalability. - Ensure the CMS supports future expansion, multilingual or localized content, and consistent SEO metadata handling. 4. Implementation Guidance - Advise on how your recommendations can be implemented (technical guidance, references, best practices). - Work closely with our internal team or developers to clarify site map changes and SEO improvement strategies. 5. Reporting & Follow-up - Provide a final report detailing findings, suggested changes, and potential impact on SEO performance. - Offer guidance on monitoring ongoing performance (e.g., recommended tools, dashboards).
