I am looking for someone to research and analyze patents around plastic golf tees. I am planning to sell a set of golf tees, making them using ocean plastic. This is what is unique about my product, the material it's made from being a recycled ocean bound plastic. I found a factory in China who has existing tooling for a long and short tee. I wanted to use them, because it means I don't have to spend a larger sum of money on a set of injection molds, around $12,000 USD. I could instead invest money into inventory that can sell and help me recoup my investment quicker and allow me to start investing in my own custom tee with custom molds.

So order of operations under my plan are
1. Order tees using the China factory's existing tooling. I would likely do this for around 1 year, only buying tees using the existing tooling from the supplier.
2. Once I have recouped some money, reinvest in my own design and custom tooling.

The issue I have is that the tees I have been planning to use from the existing supplier are identical to a big golf brand called Pride Golf. I found out after investigating recently that this factory actually uses these molds to make tees for Pride Golf for the past 10 years. Pride Golf actually placed an order on my website for a bag of tees, which is the reason some red flags started going off in my mind, making me concerned I maybe exposed to legal action against me like a cease and desist or worse. I did a preliminary patent search on google patents and also had Chat GPT try to research it as well, and I couldn't find any relevant patents for a tee like the ones I am using. I also confirmed with the factory that the factory owns the tooling, Pride Golf didn't invest money into the tooling and doesn't own the tooling. The factory does. I raised my concerns with the factory and the told me they agree to allow me to use their tooling, they also sent me the attached letter / agreement authorizing me to use their tooling. Pride Golf's website does not advertise any patents around their tees, they only mention a proprietary color printing system, where they print a specific color onto the tees to indicate what size tee it is and what type of club it should be used with.

What items I'd like your quote to include:
1. Investigate the patents for plastic golf tees that are active and inactive, does Tidal Golf need to be concerned about the possibility of Pride Golf suing us over using the same molds to make our tees?
2. For my custom tee design in the future, what design aspects do I need to avoid so that I don't infringe on others active patents?
3. Review the attached contract, let me know general feedback on if I should have any concerns signing
