Hello everyone,

I got a Node script which is used to get a m3u8 link from a website page.

The script is using Puppeteer to load a web page which has PlayerJS on it and then it listens to a m3u8 link which is delayed and coming in about 1 - 2 seconds.

The script is small and working perfectly. I will provide the script once the proposal is accepted.

BUT: the PlayerJS always loads with 360p preset quality in it (see 360p_by_default screen attached) which is bad. When we choose better quality in a real browser - a new m3u8 link is coming in in about a second (see 1080p_selected screen). The total qualities list in the player is different, but the most full list is (see all_qualities screen):

1080p Ultra
1080p
720p
480p
360p

Sometimes the page can only have 2 - 3 quality options, but sometimes it could have the full list as shown above.

I need the script to be updated and do the following:
Load the given URL and ignore the first coming m3u8 link (already done)
Parse the list qualities and initiate a click event on the best quality option like we do it in a real browser but in the case of script we should use Puppeteer (or any other library you like) to do so.
Listen to the next coming m3u8 link which corresponds to the better selected quality.

Please note that this script will be used on MacOS. It actually doesn’t matter which OS is used but would be great if you could test it on MacOS.

If you require the Puppeteer to launch the external browser in order to accomplish the task - that is fine, but the script should do the job.

IMPORTANT: You can even write your own script on any other language, we don’t care, we just need a console based script that will do the job, preferably in MacOS.
